Join Our Team: Open Coaching Roles
As we prepare for the 2024-2025 season, KSEF is excited to announce two key coaching positions that are now open:
1. On-Mountain Coaching Team Member
As an On-Mountain Coaching Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in helping our athletes achieve their skiing and racing goals. You’ll work closely with the Head Coach, Executive Director, Assistant Program Director, and other coaching staff to deliver top-notch training programs, mentor athletes, and contribute to the team’s overall success. Your passion for ski racing, commitment to athlete development, and proactive approach will be key to creating a strong, supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing the team’s training plan, ensuring athletes receive age-appropriate instruction.
Mentor and guide athletes through the challenges of ski racing.
Support race preparations and provide on-the-hill coaching during competitions.
Manage team equipment and ensure athlete safety during travel.
2. Assistant Program Director
In this role, you will support the Executive Director in the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of our ski racing programs. You’ll collaborate closely with the coaching staff, athletes, and their families to ensure the smooth execution of training programs, races, and events. A key focus will be assisting in the planning and developing of a top-level FIS program, set to launch in the 25/26 season.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing and executing all KSEF training programs.
Mentor and support athletes, helping them achieve their full potential.
Play a critical role in the development of the FIS program.
Manage on-hill logistics and ensure the smooth operation of events.
