Dear KSEF Athletes, Families, and Friends,
Welcome back to an exciting season of ski racing at Kirkwood! While we’re still soaking up the summer sun and enjoying warm-weather adventures, we’re already deep into planning for what promises to be an amazing winter ahead. We’ve got some important updates and reminders to ensure you don’t miss a beat as we prepare for another unforgettable season on the mountain!
Early Registration Deadlines:
Many of you have already started registering for the 2024-2025 season, and we’re thrilled to have you back! A quick reminder—our early registration deadline is fast approaching on September 30th. After that date, a late fee of $200 will apply, so be sure to lock in your spot soon to avoid any extra fees. To make it even easier, we’ve attached the registration form to this email. Along with our usual day training, we’re excited to announce an expanded night training schedule! Stay tuned for more details as we get closer, and temperatures drop for early-season snowmaking.
KSEF 2024/2025 Coaches:
We’re beyond excited to welcome back many of our seasoned coaches and introduce some new faces to the team! This year’s coaching roster is shaping up to be one of our best yet. Coaches Dana, Shaunda, Alisa, and Elle are returning to lead our Jr. Devos with passion and expertise. For the U10/12s, we’re thrilled to have Dolores back as our coordinator, supported by JB, Jake, Troy, Carter, PK, Meghan, Brynna, Brock, and Alex. At the U14 level, we’re stoked to have Nacho, Autumn, and Rich on board, and for U16+, Ramiro, Brent, and Chris are back to help our athletes reach new heights. Our Master's Team will once again be driven by coaches Tomasz, Patrick, and assistance from volunteer Paul Bradshaw. We’re also in the process of adding a few new coaches to the lineup and will share those updates as soon as they’re confirmed.
Kirkwood Team, Day Event:
Mark your calendars! Our annual Kirkwood Ski Team Bluezone Event is happening on September 28th. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to get your race gear early and ensure you’re fully equipped for the season ahead. It’s the perfect chance to get prepared and eliminate the stress of last-minute gear shopping!
